Under the title »WILD/BEAUTIFUL. Animals in Art«, the Kunsthalle Emden will present a group exhibition on the theme of animal depictions in art and the ambivalent relationship between humans and animals. We are pleased to announce that the artists Stefan à Wengen and Thomas Wrede will be part of the exhibition.

Stefan à Wengen is represented with a large format canvas work entitled »The Power of Love« (loan from a private collection) showing a powerful depiction of a rhinoceros as the title indicates. And by Thomas Wrede, 5 black-and-white photographs from the series »The birds hang in the air and scream« can be seen.

Due to the current situation the museum will be closed to the public until further notice.
